NEWS
FROM LITTLE MILTON SCHOOL
Hot on the heels of the
Ofsted inspector came a visit by the Anglican Schools Inspector!
We were delighted with their judgements, which included the following:
“The strong Christian
family ethos is reflected in all aspects of school life and supported by strong
links with the church and village community”
Established strengths noted
were:
The inspector also noted
that relationships are excellent with pupils responding well to the positive
adult role models. Older pupils show
care and responsibility when acting as peer support for younger pupils.
Pupils are very well behaved, polite and articulate and are very proud of
their school.
The Juniors joined with
children from the Wheatley Partnership to sing Bumble Snouts Save the World at
the Junior Music Festival at Bayards Hill School.
A well attended and enjoyable evening!
Other visits during March
have included a Tudor Day at Sulgrave Manor, where children from Years 3 and 4
had the opportunity to dress as servants or noblemen, and compare the
differences in living styles between the two.
World Book Day was
celebrated in style, with children (and staff!) dressing up as their favourite
book character. Money raised was
donated to Helen House Hospice. We
also supported Red Nose Day via a cake sale at which £166 was raised!
We would like to thank
everyone who came along and supported the Spring Fayre on Saturday 2nd
April. There was happy and friendly
atmosphere, and it was nice to see so many of our “old” children! With our
best wishes to you all for a happy Easter.
